Crunchy crust Mac n' Cheese

My tummy's bursting as I write this. Totally indulged today in creamy gooey mac n cheese. The recipe is very easy unfortunately, it's gonna be very hard not to make it too often.

For 2 portion sized bowls of Mac n cheese, I used two kinds of cheese. 3/4th cheddar and 1/4 Gruyere.
First boil the desired amount of macaroni. Meanwhile, take a saucepan and melt about 2 tablespoons of butter. To this add about 2 tablespoons of AP flour and whisk till smooth. To this add about 3 cups of milk(little by little), stir till it turns nice and thick. Throw in the grated cheese(save some cheese for sprinkling later) and whisk. Add salt and pepper and 2 teaspoons of mustard powder. To this sauce add the cooked macaroni and stir. Pour this into the two bowls.

For the crust, toss a slice of bread into the blender to make a coarse powder. Add a few drops of olive oil to this and mix.

Before popping the macaroni bowls into the oven, sprinkle the remaining grated cheese and the bread crumbs on top. After 15-20 mins @ 200deg c, you will see the crust crunchy and brown and the cheese golden. Ram made a quick broccoli side to go with it. (Broccoli sauteed in olive oil)
